Spare a coin? I need some change.
Along these lines I played around with a new idea for belief change of any nature, no matter if it’s therapeutical or esoteric in nature. The word “change” may not be completely accurate, since it is about a simple, easy and deliberate replacing of some of the definitions in your mind, but for now let’s stay with the term “change” regardless.
As far as this process is concerned, beliefs are simply definitions you accepted as true at some point in time, definitions that you have been keeping and supporting up until now.
Whenever you feel negative emotion, it’s because a belief or a set of beliefs somewhat hinders the free flowing of your true nature to flow through you. That’s why it feel bad in the first place (if this doesn’t feel right to you right now, you are invited to keep your old definition of why negative emotion is.. It doesn’t really matter for the process).
Whenever you feel negative emotion, it’s purely a reminder, only a signal for you to notice. A signal for you that some change of definitions is in place if you want to be more of the glorious, joyous being you truly are. So as the negative emotion, maybe it’s fear, anger or depression, can be felt, you realize there’s a belief, a “definition” you once accepted sometime in the past, some definition that needs change to allow who you truly are flow more freely and easily through you.
Here’s how this process of changing your definitions can be made easier, effortless and last, but not least, more natural.
Don’t force yourself anywhere in the process.
