The self-hypnotic seal

Filed under: hypnosis, imagination, mental rehearsal, self help, self hypnosis, visualization — fkrueger @ 15:03:56

or: How you can hinder your progress and not even know it.

Imagine for just a moment that you just had the best self-hypnosis session (or what’s your preferred technology/ritual for eg. beliefchange), the best one you’ve ever had before. Everything worked out beautifully and the change in behaviour and responses you are getting now are magnificiently natural, speedy and powerful. Imagine up to the point where you are really having the feeling that “Woow, I’ve totally got it!”

Now imagine you were going out into everyday life with the new change, and even though it worked pretty well, it just didn’t click in the same way as during the session. Somehow the feeling was different.

You still remembered freshly how great your session went, but something was definitely amiss.

You may have even asked yourself: “What is up with this!”

Here’s why..

A short chronology of allowing “contrast”

.. because I love the excuse it gives me and allow myself to feel even better because I stay true to my decision that nothing is more important than that I feel good!

Let me throw out a quick addendum to my post “Contrast” - a blessing in disguise:

Without oversimplifying things, without holding back or without exaggerating things I can truly say this:

“Contrast” - a blessing in disguise

Seriously, there is no such a thing as “contrast”.

Often when we experience something that we judge to be a less than positive experience (some call it “contrast”, others “resistance”, “blockages” or “bad luck”) we don’t immediately realize it as the blessing it really is when you let it. Often it’s not even a hidden blessing, once we’ve relaxed and gotten back to a better feeling place.

All “contrast” really ever is (and should be for you) is feedback by your reality, feedback that you simply can’t overlook or ignore any longer, because it’s so in the face (eg. annoying) at the time you are experiencing it.

Q: What makes the difference between contrast and a blessing?
A: Your perception, your ability to perceive (which will help you the most).

Harnessing the power of your focus

.. from good and bad emotions alike and use it for what _you_ want !

Just a few minutes ago I stumbled over an article in which Gary shares “My personal experience with sex transmutation”, an idea which was originally based on the chapter “The mastery of sex transmutation” in Napoleon Hill’s well-known classic “Think and Grow Rich”.

The post below contains my idea of an exercise which can be used to transmute not just energy of sexual thoughts (i.e. “sex transmutation”), but any and every, yes even unpleasant, energy really easy into goals and distinct manifestations of your own.

The Art of “Lack thinking”

or: How to put your “lack thinking” skills to good use.

A many things have been said and written about how bad “lack thinking” is for achieving a-bun-dance and on the other hand how well trained it is in many, often since childhood.

“Lack thinking” is what many perceive as their first and foremost stumbling block when they finally start to rediscover their true nature (usually in the form of some approach to teaching about LoA, be it Abraham-Esther, Bashar-Darryl, Ho’oponopono (eg. “Zero Limits”) or the already well-known Secret.

People are speaking about how to “clear out” those problems and thought patterns that hinder you from instantly manifesting anything you want (and ever wanted).

Sure, for some those kinda teachings actually work. Heck, even I got good results by applying the principles behind the specific approach to my way of thinking, to my way of perceiving the experiences that make up my reality. Nevertheless something just didn’t feel right, something was still holding me back..
